I really liked this doc....as it has came a bit closer to the Bealtes bear upon on the world. Years ago..I moved to Woodstock NY..to stop writing my book about the Beatles. I never finished information technology...only am now getting inspired to do so specially after seeing this. The Beatles impact was spiritual...which is the essence of my volume. The chaos in 1968..was a direct upshot of The Beatles influence up until that fourth dimension. Just every bit nosotros are seeing now the consummate collapse of our earth and all the structues...we were experiencing as well in 1968. Simply that was only the outset. Now...nosotros are set up to move into the vision that the Beatles helped united states of america to create during their reign as our leaders. All You Need IS Beloved....and nosotros wil finally now bring this energy into existence. We volition be proverb to God that yes...nosotros are ready....and the Beatles showed u.s.a. the way peculiarly in 1967! Our entire existence is at pale and if nosotros can recapture the love energy that the Beatles inspired...then we will create a new world. My only criticism of the documentary..would exist that they should accept gotten the vocalisation of some of the women that were around in those days. It is essential ...that women speak now about the Beatles influence on them....earlier information technology is lost...we aren't getting any younger!!

I am one of those kids growing up in the 60s, and I know this band truly changed many things — some very important. I recall how ofttimes the Beatles were in the showtime page of many newspapers, how frequently the TVs reported about them and of course, magazines offered a synopsis of their worldly scandals, etc. Maybe all those reports had a small-scale per centum of their music releases; mostly all was most their private lives and their eloquent comments well-nigh everything that should modify.
People around me were affected past their attitude with, manner statements and political views of the times. Peradventure near of u.s.a. did not realize the importance or the furnishings of their influences. What we noticed, the music manufacture exploded! New record outlets, so many stores sold them also. At that place were times in which money did non suffice to purchase all the records of the days: Dylan, The Who, the Stones, the Birds and almost every week a new fantastic band appeared. Music became the staple of the youth all over the world, and the bulletin ever was: think on your own, fight for what you believe, do not let the establishment to push button you, etc. This documentary illustrates well the importance and effect of these four Britons that were loved mostly by all young music lovers.
Compared to many other documentaries well-nigh the aforementioned, this one provides a perfect glimpse of the 60s and the British influence. It skips loads of information pertinent to figuring out the truthful endeavors of the Beatles and the people backside them. I would recommend to watch this 1 first and follow upwards with others that focus specifically on certain items such as the music, recording and labels. Alternatively, about their the private lives or what the printing said well-nigh something they said and was taken as if it came from someone in significant power. Overall, without The Beatles in the 60s, everything would exist and so different, and I believe not much better.

The Beatles actually did change everything!

I agree with this determination and most of the opinions expressed. I have loved the Beatles since 1964, and they will always exist an integral part of my life. Their history has e'er been remarkable, simply what I learned from this program was how they revolutionized gild in early '60s England. It was as well a treat to see segments from British media for the start time. Paul has said he doesn't consider the Beatles to be the leaders of the '60s, simply its spokesmen. For me they *were* the leaders, its spokesmen and composers of music that always brings joy to my heart. I'm very thankful.

A fascinating account of four kids from Liverpool and their social impact.

I was born February 12, 1964. To this 24-hour interval my mother reminds me of her viewing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show while at the hospital waiting for me to make it. In the wake of the Kennedy assassination, she feels their appearance helped to mend a nation in mourning. Conspicuously, the group continued to influence throughout the 1960'due south and beyond. Well done!

Picture Yourself in a Boat on a River....

I was xiv when Beatles singles began playing on our L.A. stations, before the Ed Sullivan appearance. I was really into Dylan, the Detroit sound, Soul, the Supremes, Fiddling Richard, etc., and so when I heard "I Want to Agree Your Hand," sorry...simply I was less than impressed. It sounded like bad Bubble Glue music to me. But when Rubber Soul came out, I thought, "OK wait. Expect! There'south something VERY special here." They were such good songwriters with arrangements to dice for! That'due south why The Beatles are and will remain...IMMORTAL!

Enjoyable Documentary In 5.1 Audio

Enjoyed the 'documentary'. In that location is nothing new that almost everyone doesn't already know about The Beatles.

As in anything Beatles, it is ever fun to watch and to see if at that place is something new. There wasn't.

It's not as entertaining as 'Viii Days A Week'. Music is very limited (although I compliment the disc existence in five.1 sound).

Information technology was not washed in Blu-Ray but not needed every bit there is much blackness and white footage.

Enjoyable. Worth watching once.
