How To Change Fuel Filter On 1997 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 97 wrangler. Information technology's been spitting and sputtering when more power is needed like going up a hill or taking off. Could information technology be that the fuel filter is stopped upwards. I know for a fact is not the cat stopped upwards. Whatsoever suggestions???

I am fairly sure the fuel filter is non serviceable as it is role of the fuel pump in the tank. May need to check fuel pressure level and injectors?

The fuel filter is in the tank fastened to the fuel pump.

I don't want to say its not possible but i would look at more likely sources.

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor,air filter, or fifty-fifty the coil.

If y'all have already done a tune up. And so i would run a fuel pressure bank check earlier dropping the tank.

It has such a large surface area that the manufactory considers it to be a lifetime filter.

There's a coarse nylon screen that serves as a strainer to go on big droppings out of the fuel pump but it'due south non the actual fuel filter.

It sounds like the symptoms that I was having a few years ago. It wouldn't rev in a higher place 2500 rpm. I forgot what code it displayed on my reader but, it was a misfire in #three cylinder. It turned out to exist a broken center electrode in the spark plug. Information technology would tap on the ground electrode and misfire.
